Job Description
We are looking for a Analyst, Paid Media (Investment Management) to join the Global Firmwide Marketing organization and support Morgan Stanley's global media efforts. This role will contribute to media strategy and activation for our Morgan Stanley Investment Management business. This individual will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, as well as with external agency partners, to drive media success. This individual will support the development of tactical media plans and work with internal partners/peers and external media agency resources. The ideal candidate will be proactive with strong project management mindset, have a high attention to detail and accuracy, and will be willing to learn the complexities of cross-channel media strategies.

Responsibilities:
- Support the global media team in the development of Morgan Stanley Investment Management media campaigns, helping to ensure that recommendations and media plans align with brand and business goals and will deliver returns against media campaign objectives.
- Development of actionable project plans and timelines for all campaign components and active tracking of campaign progress against key milestones.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external media agency partners to ensure campaign and project timelines are met, deliverables are accurate and high-quality, prioritization is clearly communicated and more.
- Support media trafficking and activation, ensuring specs for media placements are clearly outlined and gathering creative assets from relevant partners and crafting clear documentation for the agency teams to activate with excellence; experience populating trafficking workbooks and leading campaign trafficking/QA is a plus
- Ability to receive media performance data and analyze trends for active campaigns, providing inputs to optimization strategies and campaign insights/reporting.
- Liaise with Analytics and Digital teams to ensure proper measurement framework and campaign tag management is in place for all initiatives.
- Support media campaign finances for campaign, including billing and reconciliation; oversee pacing of campaign spend against approved budgets to ensure delivery of media impressions/dollars to budget goals.
- General knowledge of media channels with a focus on digital/performance media

- 1-2 years of experience in either a media agency/activation role or within Marketing department at a Financial Services or Asset Management company
- Four-year college degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar capability
- Strong project management skills and high attention to detail/organization; ability to multitask
- Ability to digest data and provide actionable recommendations to drive performance
- Collaborative team player who can develop strong relationships with internal peers and external agency partners to drive productivity and positive outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Constant desire to learn and uncover trends in a rapidly changing industry; knowledge of or ability to seek out competitive and industry trends (emerging digital platforms, new media publishers, audience targeting and data privacy regulation, etc.)
- Technically proficient and quick learner of new and updated platforms; expert knowledge of basic computer applications (e.g. MS Office - particularly PPT, Excel, Word - and internet applications)
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated and results-driven

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $75,000 and $95,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
