- Work within a larger Windows Server Technology Team and with external vendors to deliver new solutions and technologies for the bank.
- Maintain the global Windows Server and Active Directory infrastructure, provide operational stability by following and using the tools, policies, processes and procedures available.

- Design and Development of solutions across the Windows Infrastructure space focused around Active Directory, Windows Server and Security by utilizing SRE concepts and techniques.
- Implement monitoring and auditing solutions for Active Directory.
- Investigate & Troubleshoot Windows Servers and Active Directory related incidents.
- Integrate new products with the latest IT security guidelines.

The role is focused on Microsoft Windows Technologies around the Infrastructure working within an Active Directory focused squad, providing Global solutions and support for Morgan Stanley's AD infrastructure and supporting products that are used for Active Directory management.

You have:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Active Directory Administration, design, and implementation
- Excellent understanding of Active Directory and related infrastructure components such as DNS, Group Policies, LDAPs, Kerberos Authentication
- Technical understanding of Microsoft Server based Operating Systems focused around Server 2016, 2019 and 2022
- Strong knowledge of Windows security and auditing and up to date knowledge of Microsoft best practice around security practices and technologies
- Powershell scripting and automation skills to at least and advanced level of knowledge focused around automation in the Windows Infrastructure / Platform space.
- Good understanding about network and firewall concept
- Ability to write technical and operational management documentation (system design and engineering documents, operational run books, high level design through to build and implementation)

Team Profile:

The Windows Server Technical Area is a global team of Windows Server technologists that are specialists of specific infrastructure components on windows as well as server generalists. The technical area also has areas of discipline that focus on different practices within the team. This specific role is for a reliability specialist who is has an operational mindset and understands the SRE concepts and other similar practices that ensure the management of the server environment is conducted with well documented procedures, has stability and good observability and monitoring. A chapter of reliability specialists exists for these team members to work on these common goals of which this team member would be a part of. In addition to being in this chapter, the team member would also be part of the Active Directory squad, who's technical focus is on implementing, deploying and managing the products that include and relate to Active Directory. The AD squad is also made up of global team. The team member, who would be located in the Budpest office would be able to collaborate with fellow members of the AD squad, Reliability Chapter and other server technical area members that may be in other chapters and squads within the team. There are ~10 members of the technology area in Budapest while globally the team is made up fo ~35 team members.
