Placement and duration

The Human Resources division provides advice and insight to attract, retain, reward and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools they need to succeed. Our HR Business Partner team specifically provides guidance and support to managers and employees on a range of HR related topics, such as compensation, performance management and employee relations.

The Human Resources Internship begins from February/March 2025 for an initial period of six months but could be extended depending on your performance and business need.

Training programme

You will receive on-the-job training and benefit from working alongside experienced professionals in the HR Business Partner team on a variety of daily tasks and/or projects.

Role and Responsibilities

As a HR intern, your responsibilities could include:
  • Ensuring compliance with local employment laws, social security and tax regulations
    Coordinating administrative tasks related to the function (absence tracking, overtime, vacation, HR systems update, immigration)
  • Helping recruiting efforts and hiring processes locally
  • Managing current benefits administration and ensure coordination the London based team
  • Providing assistance to internal payroll function, in order to ensure timely and accurate monthly process
  • Providing local assistance and smooth management of the global HR processes such as performance evaluation and compensation / promotion, fostering a two ways communication with local and London BU management and London HR coverage colleagues
  • Managing onboarding and exit process for joiners and leavers
  • Advising local employees on HR management topics

Qualifications and Skills
  • You have graduated in 2023 or 2024 with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, or a related degree with a Human Resources component, with at least a 2:1 honours degree or equivalent
  • You have excellent analytical and strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • You are a team player with strong attention to detail
  • You manage multiple responsibilities and projects, enjoy problem-solving and have strong IT capabilities
  • You have a desire to work within the financial services industry
  • You have written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian
  • You have the ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
