We are seeking an accomplished Senior QA Automation Engineer with 3-5 years of expertise to lead our automation initiatives and contribute to the delivery of top-tier software products.

Responsibilities:

  1. Automation Leadership:


    • Drive the automation strategy by designing, implementing, and executing automated tests.
    • Champion the adoption of automation best practices within the QA team.

  1. Test Execution Excellence:


    • Write, execute, and continuously enhance automated test scripts to validate software functionality.
    • Leverage automation tools, particularly Selenium and Playwright, to ensure robust test coverage.

  1. Results Analysis and Reporting:


    • Analyze and interpret automated test results, providing insightful reports to the project team.
    • Collaborate with manual testers and stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to quality assurance.

  1. Artifact Maintenance:


    • Maintain and update automation scripts and testing artifacts to reflect evolving requirements.

  1. Test Data Management:


    • Utilize advanced queries to create and manage test data, ensuring its relevance to automated tests.

  1. Automation Framework Development:


    • Take a lead role in developing and enhancing automation framework modules to meet specific testing requirements.

  1. Collaboration and Mentorship:


    • Work closely with manual testers, Business Analysts, and team members to foster a collaborative testing environment.
    • Mentor junior team members, sharing automation expertise and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., bachelor's degree).
  • 5+ years of QA experience with a strong emphasis on automation.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in automation scripts development using Selenium or Playwright or Cypress.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks.
  • In-depth understanding of the SDLC and QA methodologies, including test planning.
  • Knowledge of web-based technology architecture, data structures, and RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in C#, Java, and/or scripting languages.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and environments.
  • Strong database skills and the ability to manage test data effectively.
  • Ability to work within the constructs of an agile process, including SCRUM, Continuous Build and Integration, etc.
  • Capability to handle multiple projects concurrently, delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking skills for thorough analysis of system requirements and test scenarios.
