Senior Operations Analyst

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the management to drive Resource planning and allocation, ensuring optimal utilization of a company’s resources, to ensure smooth operations and delivery.
  • Improve the quality and efficiency of the management reporting process and underlying data
  • Manage resource deployment
  • Works with Project Managers to interpret resource plans
  • Coordinates with the practice area leaders to drive resourcing decisions
  • Identify and Overcome resource shortages using capacity modeling, resource management techniques, reallocating resources, assigning more staff, etc.
  • Manage quality of resource information and reporting
  • Manage the reporting process for the weekly management cadence; coordinating with the operation analyst team
  • Identify process improvements in the reporting system, meeting formats, underlying systems and processes
  • Improve quality and availability of staffing information for project managers and the overall business leadership
  • Drive compliance across the organization supported by the operations team
  • Analytics and Ad Hoc Analysis
  • Help Develop / Manage the demand and supply models for staffing capacity
  • Work with the team, to provide better visibility into revenue, billings, staffing forecasts a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Support Ad Hoc Requests for operations reports and analysis

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • 5-8 years’ experience in a professional/client services capacity, with exposure to data management & analysis, communication, change management, and documentation.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of data and information with attention to detail and accuracy. Should be good at reading numbers, analyzing trends, etc.
  • Should be good at creating capacity planning models, financial reporting, utilization, skill set matrix etc.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS PPT, Power BI or any other data analysis tools.
  • Advanced ability to work within a virtual team environment, including virtual resource management
