The Principal Technical Solutions Consultant will be part of our Life Science vertical as part of the solution sales team supporting our Revenue Management solutions. This role will report to the Senior Director of Solutions. This role is responsible for all technical aspects of the solutions group demonstration and proof-of-concept infrastructure for our Life Science Solutions. This individual will be expected to work with other engineers, architects and domain experts to implement and maintain our demo systems – hardware/software server infrastructure, database content, demo use cases and test scripts. Candidates for this role should have a good background in a broad range of technologies and infrastructures, as well as experience with complex enterprise software.

Job Responsibilities
- Help customize and configure demonstration and proof-of-concept (POC) environments for solutions teams including creating demonstration content, configuring screens and applications to customers’ requirements
- Support and help coordinate the setup and configuration of POCs, including integrating 3rd party software, helping with integration, and presentations
- Work with the pre-sales team to translate customer/demo requirements into implementation in our environment
- Work with engineering and professional services on getting new features and content deployed to our environment
- Help set best-in-class demonstration content and scripts to our team to present the value of Model N solutions
Job Qualification
- 7+ years hands on experience working with technologies in a technical, consulting, or pre-sales support environment
- Consulting background preferred
- Good with technologies and being able to translate requirements into quick configuration/code
- Experience in the following technologies a must: Java, HTML, XLS, Enterprise Java Infrastructure (Tomcat, Jboss, etc..), Oracle (SQL/PLSQL) and programming languages
- Experience with BI Infrastructure (Cognos, Qlik Technologies), Salesforce.com / APEX a plus
- Experience deploying enterprise solutions
- Life Science knowledge of contracting, rebate and regulatory solutions a plus
- High-energy individual with a positive attitude who can work as part of a cross-functional team
- BE/MBA degree preferred. (Computer Science, Information Services or a related field).
