A technical consultant is responsible for activities like the support and development of customizations, interface configuration and testing, integration to 3rd party software, and data loading, The Model N LS solution is a transaction-based collaborative price management application, implemented in Java. We are looking for technical consultants with experience working in a fast-paced environment. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in implementations of Model N systems as a senior member of the Application Services Technical Team, involved in leading the technical team.
- Design, develop, and test customizations and work closely with Solution Architect/Tech Lead and Clients teams.
- Create custom applications that support and enhance the Model N LS solution using analytics and data integration tools like Informatica 10.4.x (Needed) Looker 7.4.x (Desirable).
- Assist customers with technical tasks related to implementation (hardware/software selection and sizing), deployment, and interface strategy.
- Drive data loading efforts. Work with customers to explain format of data, help customer with mapping, analyze content, perform data loading, and report errors to customer.
- Participate in the design, development and implementation of analytical applications
- Provide consultation and support to colleagues. Mentor junior members of the team.

Job Qualification
- Advanced knowledge of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence concepts.
- Experience in data integration tools like Informatica PowerCenter.
- Experience in developing Informatica Mappings, Sessions and Workflows. Monitoring ETL processes and debugging errors and failures.
- Exposure to Looker or similar analytics tools, or a strong interest in learning these skills.
- oKnowledge in Looker with LookML, views, dimensions, measures, filters, models and explores, and dashboards.
- Experience in Performance Tuning of SQL queries, exposure to Oracle 19c database features on performance, Informatica, and Looker (Desirable)
- Experience in GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment and effectively meet project deliverables on time.
- Ability to effectively change design and development approaches as the business requirements dictate.
- Good Communication, Presentation & Documentation skills, Email Etiquette
- 8-10 years of relevant experience with projects on ETL, data management, analytics
- B-Tech (Computer Science) or equivalent degree.
