Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the part-time MLB Technical Drafting Engineer is to work proactively with various design teams to understand project requirements and translate those to technical drawings for use by integrators at ballparks, data centers, and company offices. The Drafting Engineer is also responsible for updating, organizing, and maintaining various project related documentation and repositories, as well as maintaining CAD standards and following established implementation procedures.
Requirements
● Experience with CAD (e.g. AutoCAD or BricsCAD)
● Excellent verbal and written skills
● Excellent attention to detail

● Strong organizational skills
● Basic understanding of Broadcast, Audio, and IT systems signal flows
● Work with all relevant departments and integrators to vet, capture, and implement design requirements
● Basic Microsoft Excel and Word Skills
● Proficient with modern Windows operating systems
● Candidate should be proactive with an “eye” toward imaginative design solutions
● Office presence on a flexible basis
● May be required to travel 2 to 4 days at a time, up to twice annually
Preferred Skills
● Audio / Broadcast / Network systems integration experience
● Familiarity with video and audio systems
● Familiarity with IT and Networking systems
● Identify system design dependencies
● Experience working in data center environments
Pay Range: $45 per hour
