Job Summary
MLB is currently seeking a part-time seasonal Media Coordination Scheduler to help manage the daily broadcast schedules for the upcoming 2025 Major and Minor League Baseball season. This position will work cross functionally with several internal and external teams to ensure that all games and related events (i.e., press conferences, MLB original content, amateur exhibition games, weekly podcasts, etc.) are streamed live to our viewers correctly and then appropriately archived. The Media Coordination Scheduler will also ensure that any scheduling changes, including last minute gameday disruptions, such as rain delays and cancellations, are rescheduled in a timely and accurate manner.

An ideal candidate will be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and must possess MLB’s core competencies in areas such as collaboration, communication, critical thinking, relationship management and the ability to deliver success.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily MLB and MiLB broadcast schedules and verify that all streaming requirements are met prior to going live on our digital platforms, including on third-party integrations related to our production workflows
- Confirm that all non-gameday related events are reflected in the daily schedule and are accurately logged into MLB’s internal software programs
- Respond to streaming requests in a timely manner and collaborate with the necessary teams to ensure that the streams go live correctly and without incident
- Communicate gameday related issues to the appropriate teams immediately
- Oversee the Gameday Monitors and assist them with resolving any game-related issues and emergencies in real time
- Adhere to quality control guidelines and procedures without frequent supervision
Requirements
- A flexible schedule tied to the Major and Minor League Baseball season with availability on nights, weekends, and holidays is a must
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years in television programming and trafficking is preferred
- Professional experience working with media scheduling software is desired
- Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for this position
Desired
- Previous work experience in digital media, broadcast trafficking, and/or television programming roles is preferred
- Familiar with MLB.com, MiLB.TV, MLB.TV, MLB At Bat and other streaming services
- Prior sports industry experience is a plus
Pay Range: $25-$30 per hour
