ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ANALYST
POSITION OVERVIEW
A key member of the accounting team, responsible for the accurate and timely entry of vendor invoices. Acts as a liaison with key departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow. Able to multitask from various systems. Additionally, supports the Accounts Payable Director by facilitating the timely processing of both recurring and ad hoc payments.
- Accurate entry of vendor invoices on a timely basis to be paid via check, ACH, credit card or wire.
- Accurate general ledger coding of invoices
- Liaison with certain key departments to ensure their unique requirements in the procure-to-pay cycle are met.
- Handle the processing of invoices that are outside of the standard pay cycle.
- Responsible for reconciling accounts payable.
- Responsible for reviewing certain key payments and ensuring that payment is not made without a fully executed contract.
- Manage recurring payments to ensure timely processing.
- Perform other duties as required to support the Accounting Department
- Understanding of the Accounts Payable policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- 4-year college degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong Excel skills are a must.
- Able to work effectively under the pressure of management deadlines and pivot to completing priorities.
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Strong communication & organizational skills.
Pay Range: $75,000-$90,000
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related aspects of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB considers relevant to the hiring decision.
