We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Risk IT Business Analyst and Data Analyst (BA/DA) to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position will require the individual to support risk management initiatives, including liquidity risk, through IT solutions as well as perform data analysis to inform strategic business decisions to stake holders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements related to risk management, including liquidity risk.
  • Design, develop, and implement IT solutions that mitigate risks, including liquidity risk, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of current risk management systems and recommend enhancements or new technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies through effective IT solutions.
  • Work closely with IT developers and project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to support risk management and business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into key risk indicators, including liquidity risk, and business performance.
  • Create data models and perform statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analysis into broader business processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices in data management.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Utilize with Snowflake , SQL for data analysis and PowerBI to create dynamic and interactive dashboards and reports that enhance the presentation and analysis of risk management data.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on producing materials for senior management and board-level committees.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, including liquidity risk.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.
  • Experience with Snowflake , SQL, PowerBI for creating dynamic and interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize content based on input from feeder committees and senior management direction.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices, including liquidity risk in risk management.

The expected base salary ranges from $105k-$175k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
