Responsibilities
- Collect/document data lineage, data dictionary, processes and data flows across multiple domains
- Assist in the development and implementation of Metadata Standards and Procedures
- Collaborate across Data Domains, IT, Line of Business and Stakeholders to achieve goals
- Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate metadata quality issues and/or control gaps
- Maintain knowledge of technology/tooling to support metadata management, and provide input into requirements for future tooling
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 6+ years of metadata management experience, including foundational knowledge of best practices and industry standards
- Experience with metadata management, data cataloging and mapping data lineage in enterprise data governance tools like Securiti.ai, etc.
- Experience in creating Metamodel, business glossaries, data dictionaries, data catalog, etc.
- Excellent understanding of Data Management functions (Data Taxonomy, Data Lineage, Data Governance)
- Experience with data analysis and data wrangling using tools such as SQL, Python
- Knowledge of relational and dimensional modelling
- Knowledge of data warehouse, operational data store and data mart design concepts
- Knowledge of source code management and DevOps platforms such as GitLab or GitHub
- Knowledge of control and risk management concepts with the ability to evaluate controls, create procedure and process flows in conjunction with business and control partners
- Mapping CDEs to appropriate processes, Data Domains, Data Concepts and Data Sources and maintain accurate business process map
- Experience with Data Catalogs and Data Quality tools such as Securiti.ai, Anomalo
- Experience with data analytic reporting software such as Power BI

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Creative thinker with the ability to design innovative data solutions. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of metadata collection and reporting
- Strong experience in the CIB and or Financial Services data domain would be advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science & Engineering or Data Science, Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field
The expected base salary ranges from $105k-$150k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
