SUMMARY:

In this role you will be responsible for leading and managing the assigned large programs, following the Americas PMO (APMO) guidelines within the determined timeline. You will facilitate the communication with multiple stakeholders to achieve the target as a team. This is all done within the confines of the company's governance structure, goals and vision.

Target program can be the local NY program or HO related programs, working as a liaison with HO counterparts.

As Project Manager (PM) you will lead a cross functional team to ensure all project requirements are on schedule and on track. You will plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of specific projects. You will submit project deliverables, prepare status reports and effective project communication plans. You must have experience managing a team and be able to pass and maintain a background check.

Project promotion methodologies used include either Agile or Waterfall, or a blend of both. PM should have the capability to plan, execute and promote / manage projects based on the agreed project promotion methodologies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Project Management

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Evaluating and refining technical project proposals, planning and defining all stages of a project
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Lead a cross functional team to achieve project requirements, deadlines and schedules (WBS)
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Identify, resolve and track project issues
  • Prepare project status reports aligned with project governance standards
  • Coordination of change requests
  • Lead project based on Critical and Logical Thinking
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Track project costs against allocated budget
  • Provide project updates to various stakeholders based on agreed cadence
  • Manage relationship and contracts with vendors and suppliers against expected deliverables
  • Manages the relationship and communications with key stakeholders across IT and Business
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Lead team in meeting client expectations and project deliverables
  • Conduct post-project evaluation
  • Ensure development of PPD (Project Plan Document) and take a lead to obtain necessary approvals
  • Support and execute UAT plan and test cases. Provide required support for UAT execution.
  • Develop all mandatory documents* to align with governance and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or education required
  • 8-12 years of project management and/or IT planning and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Detailed understanding of project management and risk control methodologies
  • Excellent skills of organizing project documents including verbal/written communication skills
  • Excellent management skills including experience at performing across multiple functions & areas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Detailed understanding of project management and risk control methodologies
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, JIRA
  • Excellent verbal/ written communication skills among project members including senior managements
  • Must be fluent in English

The expected base salary ranges from $105k - $180k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
