As a Salesforce Administrator at Symetri, you will play a key role in enhancing and optimizing our Salesforce platform. We seek a proactive individual who can gather requirements and feedback, design scalable solutions following best practices, and manage the product roadmap to drive continuous improvement. Since the user experience is a top priority, you should enjoy all aspects of user management, including handling support tickets, providing training, and designing user-focused solutions.

We need someone with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform who can quickly assess our current setup, align with business objectives, and identify areas for improvement. The Salesforce Administrator should be skilled in change management and governance and capable of effectively communicating, prioritizing, and managing all aspects of Salesforce projects. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical details into easily understandable terms, and clearly explaining design options and their potential impact.

 

Any data analytic experience or Microsoft Power BI experience is a plus.

 

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Salesforce integrations, applications, extensions, and customizations.
  • Develop intuitive UI using Visualforce, JavaScript, and jQuery technologies.
  • Ensure availability of the Force.com platform and provide on-call support to resolve application issues.
  • Participate in the planning/analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
  • Collaborate inter-departmentally to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Create testing and implementations plans, including user training and documentation.
  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
  • Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders
  • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
  • Remain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ Years’ experience with Apex, Visualforce, and the Lightning Component Framework.
  • 3+ years of experience in administration and development of Salesforce’s Sales Cloud Functionality
  • 3+ years of experience in administration and development of Salesforce’s Service Cloud Functionality
  • 2+ SFDC implementations
  • Knowledge of Salesforce permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, and logical formulas
  • Experience in developing custom APEX and Visualforce components
  • Experience in migrating data and customizations across Salesforce environments
  • Strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of software development processes and best practices
  • Experience with Salesforce in the Value Added Reseller and Services vertical is preferred

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • SFDC Platform Developer II
  • SFDC Administrator
