At Reality Labs, we're developing the future of augmented and virtual reality. We are seeking a Cellular Systems Engineer to join our Wireless Team at Reality Labs. In this role, you will be a key member of a team of innovators working on cutting-edge wireless technologies that push beyond the state-of-the-art in AR/VR development.
Wireless Systems Engineer Responsibilities:
- Analyze cellular system requirements (including RF, PHY, MAC, protocol, and application level performance) based on product requirements and use cases
- Set cellular system performance expectations and drive the cellular system architecture (Hardware/Software) in collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve product performance optimization
- Develop test plans, bring-up Hardware set-ups, perform cellular system performance and power consumption evaluations, and conduct data analysis
- Analyze and debug cellular system issues, chipset/Firmware/Software defects, and improve overall system-level performance throughout the product cycle

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of experience in cellular systems engineering, including design, evaluation, and debugging of cellular features.
- Experience with cellular technologies and standards (5G/LTE).
- Experience with debugging tools and test equipments.
- Experience with cross-functional team communication and collaboration.
- 8+ years of cellular systems engineering experience.
- End-to-end wireless system debugging and analysis experience.
- Proficiency with one or more of the following programming/scripting languages: Python, C or C++.

$139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
