Meta is seeking an experienced Vendor Engagement Program Manager to join our Contingent Workforce Vendor Engagement and Service Delivery Team. We are looking for a skilled professional to establish a comprehensive vendor governance model, lead operational due diligence, and drive long-term vendor strategy and contract lifecycle management for key outsourced service providers providing services through the Contingent Workforce Program. This role, in partnership with an extensive network of internal cross-functional partners, will help optimize Contingent Workforce sourcing strategies, and enhance due diligence processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Vendor Engagement Program Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop Vendor Operational Due Diligence (ODD) program, ensuring CWx Program Vendors comply with regulatory and operational risk standards
- Drive Tier 1-Tier 3 Vendor contract audits, compliance reviews, and cost optimization initiatives, achieving significant cost savings and risk mitigation
- Manage Tier 1 Vendor spend, leading contract lifecycle management, and strategic vendor negotiations
- Lead benchmarking initiatives to align Vendor fee structures, cost models, and technology investments with market trends
- Ensure performance-based contracts are fit for purpose, ensure penalty/reward SLAs are tracked and monitored, and rebate incentives for managed service providers are captured, annually
- Partner with internal business units to enhance sourcing strategies, improve service levels, and implement vendor consolidation efforts
- Develop training programs and governance policies to enhance vendor oversight, stakeholder collaboration, and risk mitigation strategies
- Establish and develop internal and external policies, standards and processes for Vendor oversight and engagement
- Partner with technology and tooling cross functional partners (XFNs) to support technology-driven initiatives to automate Vendor governance processes, integrating new features into internal Vendor management tools.
- Analyze and report on Vendor performance metrics, including SLAs and KPIs
- Facilitate end-to-end Tier 2 and 3 supplier onboarding for the Contingent Workforce Program, including contract negotiation (where applicable), on-going third party contract compliance, and performance management of CWx Program supply chain
- Support supplier relationships and performance, including the facilitation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews and performance evaluation
- Support internal sourcing processes, in conjunction with key cross functional partners, to ensure timely onboarding of Contingent Workforce Program suppliers
- Develop, document and implement sustainable policies and procedures for the continuous management of Contingent Workforce suppliers
- Ensure suppliers maintain compliance with all third party regulatory requirements and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals
- The candidate will be responsible for managing vendor performance management, inclusive of all associated performance metrics. They will establish an effective supplier onboarding strategy, and liaise with internal cross functional partners to ensure compliance with internal sourcing processes and requirements. The VE Program Manager will enable supplier strategy and compliance for all new country expansions. This includes analyzing and reporting on vendor performance, and ensuring the suppliers in our Program ecosystem remain in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as country specific legislative requirements.

- 7+ years of experience in Vendor management, operational due diligence, strategic sourcing, or third-party risk management within financial services, asset management, or technology industries
- Expert level knowledge and experience with outsourced service models (MSP, BPO, cloud services) and risk remediation strategies
- Proven success in managing high-value vendor contracts ($100M+) and leading cost-saving initiatives (e.g., automation, contract renegotiations)
- Demonstrated background and experience in program management and Vendor governance
- Expertise in contract lifecycle management, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001, OCC, SEC regulations)
- Experience with influencing and engaging C-level stakeholders, legal teams, and global sourcing managers in high-stakes vendor decisions
- Proven track record with negotiation, financial analysis, and strategic problem-solving skills
- Experience with HR, staffing, MSPs, VMS, Contingent Workforce and employment law, and worker classifications (1099/IC)
- Relationship-building skills in a cross-functional environment, with proven success in influencing at all levels
- Highly analytical, with problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making

- Experience in analytics, communication, and project management skills, with an understanding of supplier performance management and contingent workforce management principles and practices.
- Master's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Certification in Contingent Workforce management or procurement
