As a Wearables Technical Program Manager in the, you will play a critical role in bringing this to life.As a Technical Program Manager in the Wearables - Experiences and Foundations product area, you will spearhead complex, cross-functional programs that bring to life innovative wearable experiences and foundational technologies, tightly integrated with Meta's ecosystem. Your scope will encompass leading initiatives across key areas, including the Meta Wearable App, seamless Integration, core experiences like communication, and utilities, as well as foundations such as developer platforms, core system UX, device management, and more.

Technical Program Manager - Wearables Experiences Responsibilities:
- Define and execute technical program plans, driving alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks, develop mitigation strategies, align on priorities, and set direction for a broadly cross-functional area.
- Establish best practices and key performance indicators to ensure success, designing and scaling solutions to increase efficiency.
- Communicate planning, program status, issues, and risks in a timely manner to stakeholders, distilling complex topics into clear communications for program stakeholders and executive management.
- Lead launch and release activities related to end-to-end software features and deliverables.
- Drive and influence technical strategy, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Collaborate with wide-ranging teams, including product management, user experience, software engineering, hardware, firmware, QA, and data science, to deliver high-quality products that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience as a technical program manager, engineering manager, or product manager, leading software development.
- Experience delivering technical programs or products from inception to delivery.
- Knowledge of software and hardware product development processes.
- Experience with software development for consumer devices.
- Demonstrated experience with delivering innovative software technologies.
- Experience in software engineering process definition and improvements at scale.
- Experience in team leadership, decision-making, and presenting to large groups.
- Experience developing or working directly on various aspects of large-scale distributed systems such as client-server interactions, scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Experience with various software development methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid, etc.,).
- Experience with cloud-based services, mobile app development/release and infrastructure.
- Experience with AR technologies.

$167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
