Meta's Strategic Sourcing Organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead the sourcing and contracting processes in support of Meta's Reality Labs, Security, and Privacy Sourcing categories. As a key member of our team, this individual will be responsible for driving successful sourcing outcomes by working closely with both internal clients and external suppliers.
Strategic Sourcing Manager - Technology Responsibilities:
- Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across Meta Reality Labs, Security and Privacy teams to strategically develop, implement and optimize sourcing and vendor management solutions.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing projects (including planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of projects and processes).
- Own and lead end-to-end RFx processes for all RFI, RFP and RFQ activities, including supplier selection, internal and external alignment, scoping, scoring, bid evaluations, market analysis, negotiations, and award.
- Drive in-depth market analysis and competitive benchmarking activities to ensure continuous supplier improvement in purchase price and/or total cost of ownership. Measure, report, and action cost improvements as compared to market pricing.
- Lead contract negotiation and contracting (e.g., master agreements, statements of work, order forms, amendments, etc.) with internal partners and external suppliers.
- Actively identify, track, and manage issues and risks for the projects.
- Identify, develop, and deploy industry-leading supplier management, procurement and category management practices.
- Ensure program success through consistent supplier management and governance methodologies, in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Balance business requirements versus technical constraints to maximize business benefits.
- Establish collaborative relationships with across strategic sourcing category teams, contracts, procurement operations, legal, FP&A.

- 4+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, indirect category management, or contracting supporting technology services
- Extensive experience collaborating, influencing, and communicating effectively with internal clients and external suppliers
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing complex information and data sets, thinking critically, and driving successful outcomes through negotiation
- Experience managing time-sensitive projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and a diverse range of stakeholders
- Experience drafting/redlining professional services and software agreements with clear understanding of contract language and terms
- Experience using a range of tools and technologies, including office productivity tools (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.), contract management software and willing to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, systems, and workflows, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
- Familiarity with navigating the nuances of purchasing technology services, software, licensing models and associated agreements.
- Experience collaborating on and supporting global projects

$111,000/year to $162,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
