Strategic Sourcing Manager, Camera and sensing

In this role, you will be working with a team of talented professionals in solving supply chain challenges, building strategic relationships with suppliers, negotiating commercial aspects and enabling new products for successful manufacturing scale in a fast paced environment.

Strategic Sourcing Manager, Camera and sensing Responsibilities:

• Develop sourcing strategy ensuring suppliers are capable of meeting Meta's current and future technical and business requirements
• Negotiate purchase agreement, contracts, and SOW with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, flexibility, quality, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms
• Partner with cross functional teams to enable the supplier selection process and component qualification
• Drive early engagement activities to ensure our suppliers are proactively providing input into new product designs and future product roadmaps
• Drive forecasting and commodity supply management at supply chain partners through the product life cycle
• Demonstrate site leadership by organizing internal and supplier resources onsite and leading the daily supplier sync meetings
• Manage strategic and business relationship with suppliers partnering with US functional SSM leads and be the primary focal point for escalation of major issues onsite
• Collaborate on value engineering activities onsite with cross functional teams to enable cost reductions at suppliers
• Formulate contingency plans to de-risk supply challenges, long lead times, single source situations, and any supply gaps
• Work closely with US functional leads in supporting aggressive should cost initiatives and validating costs at suppliers as required
• Continually benchmark the industry to monitor technology trends and ensure best practices are incorporated into the Meta supply chain

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations and/or business
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing, operations and or business-related positions
• Extensive knowledge and experience in consumer electronic components supply chain and cost structure
• Experience and knowledge working with suppliers in the Optics, Cameras, Camera sub- components, Projectors
• Experience in supplier evaluation/selection, should cost models, contract negotiation and supply base management
• Experience in enabling trusting relationships with engineering, product management, cross functional teams and supply chain partners to manage trade off and drive supply at the sites

• Master's degree in engineering, business or technical discipline
• Experience managing factory ramps and strategic supplier relationships
