Meta is seeking an experienced Strategic Partner Manager to develop, execute and maintain relationships within the sports industry in EMEA. This role involves the management of a number of key sports partners such as rights holders, teams or athletes, supporting their organic growth across Meta platforms and driving strategic initiatives.This role requires combining high levels of strategic thinking with expert execution, from educating and inspiring high profile creators to onboard to our newest products and features, launching creative strategic partnerships to drive in-app engagement, to supporting the partners' day-to-day operations and business objectives, as well as using analytics to improve partner performance.The partner manager will serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders to develop a solid action plan for Meta's products and services to achieve tangible objectives with these external partners. As Meta's external spokesperson to the EMEA Sports industry, a distinct sense of prioritisation and focus is required as well as proven relationship building skills and communication.

Strategic Partner Manager, Sports, EMEA Responsibilities:
  • Manage Meta's strategic partnerships with Sports partners
  • Identify and onboard a managed partner set based upon data and Meta's strategic objectives
  • with a clear vision and strategy of how to education, product adoption and platform output
  • Track, analyse and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends according to how they relate to partner relationships
  • Define and implement an engagement strategy based upon Meta's business objectives, aligned with our services, products and company objectives
  • Work closely with Partnerships colleagues in different markets to activate against key sport industry moments
  • Be an internal advocate for our partners and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Product, Comms, Marketing, Policy, and Sales. Support with providing product feedback, organising roundtables and meet-ups
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Global Partnerships team to share learnings, resources and strategies in order to drive more efficiency and impact
  • Become the primary point of contact for and maintain relationships with Meta's key sports partners
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience in partner management or content delivery, ideally within a sporting environment
  • Proven track record managing partnerships (ideally in Sports) and establishing long term relationships
  • Distinct knowledge of the EMEA Sports and Athlete landscape with an existing network of relationships in the industry
  • Advanced project management experience, with the bandwith to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects
  • Proven experience to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
  • Creativity to suggest and build solutions that bring relevancy to the usage of Meta platforms, that can be scaled to drive impact
  • Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • A driven team player with a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
  • English Language required, additional languages (especially Spanish) are preferred
