The Payment Partnerships team manages Meta's relationships across the payments industry, working with world-leading companies and FinTechs across the entire financial services ecosystem. The team develops, manages, and grows partnerships to power payments across the Family of Apps - Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Reality Labs - including payments use cases like advertising, e-commerce, games, marketplace and messaging payments, P2P, subscriptions, and more. As a Strategic Partner Manager, Payments Risk Management, you will play a pivotal role in supporting industry partnerships to manage Meta's payments fraud risk. You'll work across a global team to prioritize opportunities and solve challenges, in close collaboration with product, engineering, ops, finance, legal, sales, treasury, and other teams across the company. You'll assess new partnerships and manage & grow existing ones.

Strategic Partner Manager, Payments Risk Responsibilities:
- Advise and assist on the design and the delivery of the fraud risk solutions throughout the payment lifecycle for Meta Payments based on industry insights
- and providing subject-matter-knowledge in payments risk
- Nurture, ramp-up and manage payments risk services partners from initial ideation to the final project go-live in executing on various payments risk requirements
- Identify new partners and assist in negotiating business and technical terms with them, and drive commercial term negotiations as needed
- Partner with Product, Operations and Engineering teams to help identify/influence growth opportunities with existing and new partners, solve existing customer issues and develop new capabilities to improve transaction processing
- Evaluate the industry and explore external signals available for fraud mitigation as well as chargeback representment
- Manage and optimize chargeback management related vendors
- Collaborate with operations team in troubleshooting existing risk payments flows for new and existing products
- Follow-up on experiments completed by Product / Engineering, understanding success and move to prioritisation of full roll out
- Work closely with colleagues who manage processors and network schemes to validate internal analysis and bring more data and insights
- Understand priority markets and their overall impact
- 6+ years of experience in Partnerships, Product or Consulting in the payments risk space
- Extensive work experience in the payments industry, e.g. card processing, bank payments, authentication etc.
- Direct and relevant experience working in the payments risk area specifically with knowledge of the industry
- Industry knowledge of global CNP (card not present) payment processing
- Prior experience in managing payments risk vendors and partners and with different risk models
- Prior experience working closely with product management and engineering teams
- Experience collaborating and negotiating with external business partners and vendors
- Project management experience
- Analytical skills including SQL queries skills
- MBA
