In this role, you will support a team of engineers focused on delivering insights on input performance in Wearables, as well as delivering Text Entry mechanisms and input education.
Software Engineering Manager - Input Insights & UX Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of software engineers focused on delivering Input Education, Text Entry, and Input Insights
- Engage with partner teams and communicate cross-functionally to drive research and engineering efforts
- Create career development plans, manage performance, and conduct performance reviews
- Set clear expectations and create a positive work environment based on accountability, in collaboration with research, engineering, and management teams
- Help the team scale effectively: identify, recruit, interview, and hire new engineers

- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
- 5+ years of experience creating real time software
- 3+ years people management
- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with input devices such as touch screens, game controllers, or prototypes
- Experience with Unity, Unreal, or equivalent 3D game engine
- Experience with Frontend frameworks

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
