GenAI Media Editing is hiring an Engineering Manager who is passionate about incubating, developing and landing state-of-the-art ML models to power media experiences across the different surfaces of Meta's Family of Apps. Our team has shipped exciting features such as Imagine, Imagine Edit, Stickers and Imagine Flash and we continue to build exciting and creative products. In this role, you will support a team of ML engineers and applied research scientists, lead machine learning efforts around media generation and editing and work with the state-of-the-art of GenAI models in the media editing space and join a team that focuses on bringing that power to the users. Software Engineering Manager - GenAI Media Foundations Responsibilities:
- Support a team of ML engineers and applied research scientists eager to fine-tune, train and ship models for product use cases
- Set the technical direction for projects centered around media editing using Generative AI
- Take responsibility of full ML pipeline including training, evaluation, optimization and deployment
- Collaborate with other ML and Research Teams to apply the state-of-the-art approaches and models to our products
- Contribute to a highly collaborative and fun work environment
- MSc in Computer Vision or Machine Learning or relevant field
- 10+ Years of experience building ML models
- Track record of shipping 0 to 1 projects
- 2+ Years of experience managing a team of software engineers / applied research scientists
- PhD in Computer Vision or Machine Learning or relevant field
- 3+ years of experience in managing teams of applied research scientists

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
