Software Engineering Manager Responsibilities:
- Build and lead teams to deliver Android/RTOS proto platforms for Smart Glass
- Collaborate across electrical, silicon, software, user experience, and firmware teams to define and build software components
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members and project peers
- Set clear expectations and create a positive work environment based on accountability, in collaboration with the engineering and management teams
- Build development processes that allow for rapid development and experimentation while maintaining a high quality product.
- Understand and drive implementation of quality software development practices across teams and projects.

- MS or BS in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Working experience with using standard software development frameworks
- 2+ years of experience in directly managing/leading teams.
- 8+ years expertise in software/firmware development for consumer electronics products
- Experience building a team to scale across multiple products.
- Experience working with silicon vendor provided packages and solutions
- Specialized experience in two or more of the following areas: RTOS, Kernel, AOSP service, Connectivity
- Hands-on coding experience with peripherals such as USB, SPI, MIPI CSI/DSI, I2C, UART, GPIO etc.

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
