You will bring together innovative design with new technologies (related to 3D applications and games). You have a passion for real-time 3D applications, virtual or augmented reality and enjoy rapid iterative development of products or research.

Software Engineer, Metaverse Engine Technology - Animations Responsibilities:
- Build next-gen tech for real-time mixing of pre-authored animation and body tracking, as well as the tools and pipelines for authoring and editing the animations required for very high quality digital representations of people in complex real-time cross-platform applications.
- Deliver advanced animation techniques: from proposing an idea to hands-on design and implementation of the most complex core components all the way to productizing for creator workflows.
- Set a high-quality bar to make our technology easy and delightful for developers to use.
- Write high-quality, well optimized, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, designers, artists, and user researchers to deliver innovative mixed reality and flat-screen products.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent 3D math and linear algebra skills.
- Strong knowledge and experience with C++
- Proven experience in building and shipping features for 3D character animation, physics simulation or mesh processing in the computer graphics industry. Alternatively, we will consider candidates with a lower level of experience but with a PhD in a relevant area.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Solid level knowledge and understanding of real-time animation systems. Experience with character animation technology and pipelines.
- Understanding of and experience with video game physics.
- Experience with C# or similar programming languages.
- Experience delivering AAA Games.
- Experience with development for virtual reality (Rift, Quest, VIVE, Gear VR, etc.).
- Experience working across a mixed technology stack that includes C/C++ components.
- Experience with performance optimization of real-time applications.
- Strong understanding and sense of empathy for VR users and developers
