- Architect and help build a platform which serves the needs of multiple product use-cases
- Drive towards and maintain the highest level of system reliability and quality, built on top of Meta consumer infrastructure
- Drive the team's goals and technical direction to pursue opportunities that make your larger organization more efficient
- Effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail
- Understand industry & company-wide trends to help assess & develop new technologies
- Partner & collaborate with organization leaders to help improve the level of performance of the team & organization
- Lead long term technical vision and roadmap
- Partner closely with infrastructure and operations teams to manage successful delivery of the platform's goals
- Significant experience with building large-scale applications and operating at scale
- Experience building systems achieving enterprise-grade reliability
- Experience in driving large cross-functional engineering efforts across multiple teams
- Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions
- Significant experience in mentoring/influencing experienced engineers
- Expert level programming experience
- B.S. Computer Science or related field
