  • Design and develop system-level software for camera and imaging systems for AR products
  • Provide solutions to complex sensor and hardware control logic to work seamlessly with the imaging pipeline
  • Design, code, review, and tests camera related software features across lower levels of the camera stack, including Camera HAL, Multimedia subsystems and Linux kernel
  • Develop Camera Pipelines and program ISP and relevant subsystem for optimized Camera Experiences
  • Work with Image Sensor vendors and develop the software and frameworks for wide range of sensors on our products ranging from Machine Perception sensors for VR to photographic sensors on devices
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience working on camera hardware, including sensors, lens, DSP, or computer vision processing units
  • 5+ years of experience with development of Camera software systems, including camera system software such as ISPs, sensors, and other Imaging Pipeline HW components, and Camera Firmware
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with camera APIs and understanding of Video and Image Capture pipeline for embedded devices
  • Experience working on camera stack on iOS, Android or other mobile platforms
  • Experience developing and debugging in C/C++
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with 3A Camera Algorithms, software control of Image Signal Processors, image sensor drivers, and MIPI/CSI and other data transfer protocols
  • Understanding of Video and Image Capture pipeline for embedded devices
  • Experience with Camx
  • Experience with Qualcomm ISP
  • Experience with ISP Hardware blocks, and optimized pipeline programming

$70.67/hour to $208,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
