Meta is seeking a Knowledge Management (KM) Content Curator to join our Data Center Site Operations ("SiteOps") team. Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates and which our innovative services are delivered.The Content Curator plays a pivotal role in our Knowledge Management framework, by leading our internal content strategy.
Site Operations Knowledge Management Content Curator Responsibilities:
- 1. Content Strategy and Management: - Develop and maintain metadata dictionaries, ontologies, and taxonomies to support content organization. - Design workflows to ensure quality and consistency of content. - Identify new knowledge areas and update knowledge categories to reflect findings. - Lead a content editor group and contribute to governance models. - Design and maintain knowledge lifecycles with AI integrations where appropriate.
- 2. Collaboration and Communication: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify core repeatable processes, integrate lessons learned, and develop reusable knowledge. - Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure the quality, discoverability, and accuracy of content. - Organize content groups to own, curate, and maintain content for their domain.
- 3. Content Optimization: - Optimize the content management lifecycle by proactively identifying reusable content and facilitating its migration to a single source of truth. - Ensure content is easy to search, up-to-date, and relevant to the team.
- 4. Furthermore, the Content Curator oversees content throughout its lifecycle and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives targeting information quality and collaborates with the knowledge management team and governance bodies to support:
- a) SiteOps Content Strategy: - Develop a comprehensive strategy that integrates content management, technical operations, and business workflows to optimize knowledge flow within the organization. - Establish a unified structure for content strategy, taxonomy, metadata, and ontology to support workflows.
- b) Content Workflows: - Establish content editor groups and a content creation governance model. - Automate content workflows and lifecycle notifications for outdated, low-quality, or unaddressed feedback content.
- c) Content Libraries: - Develop a system for synthesizing lessons learned for application to new work, understanding ongoing issues, and persistent issues. - Collaborate with various teams to collect and categorize current lessons learned documents.

- Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library Sciences, Computer Science, Organizational Learning, Knowledge Management, User Experience, Anthropology, or related areas.
- 4+ years of experience in organizing, designing, and developing content for internal audiences.
- Experience in content strategy, taxonomy, metadata, and ontology development.
- Proven experience understanding knowledge management principles and content lifecycle control and automation.
- User centricity in designing and developing content management and access strategies
- Understanding of industry standard information classification schemes
- Demonstrated experience to determine what knowledge is worth capturing and in what form

$122,000/year to $177,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
