Meta is seeking an experienced Site Logistics Operations Specialist to focus on Data Center Field and Warehouse operations. This person will be responsible for supporting the Site Logistics Operational Leads to develop and implement consistent processes and manage third party logistics teams at the Odense data center.
Site Logistics Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics operations at Odense data center site to ensure operations are performed within the IBOS 4S standards (Safety, Security, SOX compliance, Stakeholders).
- Monitor operations, identify gaps, and create remediation plans.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics to meet site logistics requirements.
- Develop, refine, and maintain documentation that captures and distributes the processes and policies for executing safe, effective, and efficient logistics operations within Meta data centers.
- Identify gaps in operations and present solutions to standardise operations across Meta data center sites.
- Build cross-functional relationships for effective communication and operations management.
- Conduct monthly compliance audits and support financial reporting.
- Enable and support IBOS leaders to understand business requirements, implement new processes and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
- Drive inventory reconciliation and process improvements.
- Raise field issues for systemic control improvements.
- Collaborate with field leads and vendors on process implementation.
- Monitor performance metrics and support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
- Help define and manage ongoing KPIs to measure process compliance and logistics operations performance.
- Partner in developing shared solutions when inconsistencies are identified.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years logistics experience overseeing operations, team performance, and SLA adherence.
- Experience of consistently working under your own initiative, seeking feedback and input where appropriate
- Experience with ERP, TMS, CMS, WMS systems, and analytics tools.
- Experience in operations with a focus on process improvement, lean methodologies, or business analysis
- Experience in communicating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, collaborators and clients, at different levels
- Experience in data centers and business analysis/program management.
- Project management experience
- Cross-functional project experience.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain processes and inventory management.
