Come join the Legal Risk Management team as a Risk Assessment and Advisory Manager. This role will require relationship-building, leadership, and communication skills to bring together stakeholders throughout Meta's cross-functional groups. In this role you'll manage a team focused on conducting risk assessments and providing advisory support to Meta's Corporate Compliance and Ethics functions. Candidates should have in-depth risk management experience and experience setting risk strategy.

Risk Assessment and Advisory Manager Responsibilities:

  • Establishing the functional strategy and execution of risk assessment and advisory services for Legal Risk Management's key partners
  • Managing the refinement and execution of Meta's Risk and Control Assessment Framework, ensuring alignment of the framework to interpretation of applicable laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and industry standards
  • Identifying and prioritizing targeted risks assessments based on the most important risk areas across Meta's Corporate Compliance and Ethics (CC&E) and other cross-functional areas
  • Facilitating risk and control assessments across Meta's CC&E functions and other cross-functional areas
  • providing recommendations to improve overall risk posture
  • Continuously improving the overall risk assessment program, processes and reporting, based on internal requirements and external best practices and standards
  • Providing advisory support and credible solutions to the changing risk landscape and identifying emerging risks
  • Building formal and informal networks of cross-functional risk teams to drive alignment, connectivity and consistency in risk practices
  • Establishing streamlined communication & engagement models with Legal Risk Management's Pillar Leads (Governance, Controls Management, Validation and Monitoring, Risk Intelligence & Issues Management) to communicate project status, updates, and input to ensure cross-functional alignment and timely deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 12+ years of experience in a risk management and/or data management discipline
  • Experience leading a Risk Assessment and Advisory function, related processes, data and technology controls, and updating ongoing frameworks
  • Experience managing teams
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects, demonstrating impact, and influencing organizational change
  • Track record of working in a collaborative, team-based environment to solve business challenges and drive change in large organizations
  • Experience working in support of diverse communities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in business or accounting
  • Experience working at a big four accounting firm
  • Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance Systems (ServiceNow is preferred)

$170,000/year to $242,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
