Come join the Legal Risk Management team as a Risk Assessment and Advisory Lead. This role will require relationship-building, leadership, and communication skills to bring together stakeholders throughout Meta's cross-functional groups. Candidates should have in-depth risk management experience and experience designing, executing, and managing risk assessments. You'll also provide advisory support across Meta's Corporate Compliance and Ethics functions and other cross-functional areas.
Risk Assessment and Advisory Lead Responsibilities:
- Serve as a thought leader for sharing insights and credible challenge to the changing risk landscape across designated functions
- Facilitate risk assessments and provide actionable recommendations to improve operating environment
- track and monitor risk landscape on a continuous basis
- Proactively identify any high priority risk areas and/or emerging risks that may need targeted risk assessments
- Advise on the regional risk framework and assessments
- integrate country/regional specific information into broader risk assessment capabilities
- Compile thematic risk assessment reporting to executive leadership for ongoing monitoring and prioritization
- Lead the development and maintenance on Meta's Risk and Control Assessment Framework, ensuring alignment of the framework to interpretation of applicable laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and industry standards
- Provide training and awareness efforts to partners and key stakeholders throughout the risk assessment process
- Share risk signal and risk assessment outcomes with other LRM teams such as Control Management, Issue Management, Validation and Monitoring, Governance and Risk Intelligence to align with the overall risk management strategy
- Serve as the business liaison to the Governance, Risk, and Compliance system team to ensure system requirements meet risk assessment needs

- Bachelor's degree
- 12+ years experience in a risk management and/or data management function
- Understanding of corporate risk management functions, related processes, data and technology controls, and updating ongoing frameworks
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading cross-functional projects, demonstrating impact, and influencing organizational change
- Track record of working in a collaborative, team-based environment to solve business challenges and drive change in large organizations
- Experience working in support of diverse communities
- Master's degree in business or accounting
- Experience working at a big four accounting firm or tech company
- Governance, risk, and compliance system experience

$170,000/year to $242,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
