The Product Quality organization at Meta is responsible for quality improvements to enable great end-to-end experiences for people and businesses.The Product Quality organization is seeking QA Engineering Leads to test and assess product quality for the Meta products (ex. Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Monetization). As a QA Engineering Lead, you will help shape the future of what we build here at Meta. You enjoy solving quality challenges for products built with cutting edge and interoperable technology serving 3+ billion people worldwide. You define test strategies, ensure product correctness for launches, and improve testing efficiency at scale.
QA Engineering Lead (Accessibility) Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and execute product quality strategies for Meta's products like Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Monetization.
- Develop test strategies for business critical projects to ensure product correctness before launch
- Manage a team of in-house and offshore testers to conduct black box testing
- Spearhead initiatives that influence engineering organizations to build a quality-driven in support of shared goals
- Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of products
- Identify gaps and opportunities to improve quality
- Define and implement QA processes to optimize and scale testing within the product
- Establish and drive the adoption of quality metrics that help measure test effectiveness, efficiency, and overall quality of product
- Assess non-functional (e.g. i18n, l10n, a11y) product quality in collaboration with other quality focused teams and provide key insights to product teams

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience of industry standard test automation tools & automation frameworks
- 8+ years of quality Engineering and/or test engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with planning, designing, executing tests and experience in performance and stress testing
- Experience implementing and maintaining quality test automation for both mobile and web applications
- Experience managing black box testing with remote testers
- Experience in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent coding language
- Experience in how to use data to improve product quality
- Experience in accessibility testing across web & mobile
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards and regulations (e.g. WCAG)
- Experience with QA process and methodologies
- Experience working across multiple cross-functional engineering teams globally
- Experience in working on issues that may not be clearly defined and require strategic direction, analysis of situations and conceptual thinking and having initiative to improve product quality coverage and effectiveness.
- Hands-on experience with using assistive technologies (e.g. JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver) on web and mobile.
- Project management experiences, including experience coordinating accessibility audits and remediation across large-scale projects
- Certification in accessibility testing or design, such as IAAP CPACC, CPWA, WAS, or DHS Trusted Tester

$134,000/year to $186,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
