We are looking for a highly innovative and experienced Director of Product Management to lead our Codec Interactions team. This team is responsible for developing cutting-edge input/interaction technologies for VR/MR and wearable devices, including hand tracking, body tracking, eye tracking, and controller interactions.As the Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for leading a team of product managers who are passionate about reinventing the future through products that shape the future of the Metaverse and Wearables devices. You will collaborate with cross-functional partner teams and XFN, including HorizonOS, Horizon Experiences, and Wearables across engineering, design, and research. Together, you will support existing in-market products and develop innovative new products and features that push the boundaries of what's possible in the XR space.Some of the use cases the team will build include creating a seamless, efficient, and innovative virtual workspace that can be accessed anywhere, and developing a wearable technology that monitors and analyzes every aspect of a user's day.As the Director of Product Management, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of Meta and the metaverse. You will be responsible for driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Codec Interactions team, and for ensuring that the team is delivering high-quality technology, features and products that meet the needs of our users.

Product Management Director, Codec Interactions Responsibilities:
- Lead a team through the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products
- Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented, diverse, equitable and inclusive team of product managers and product leaders
- Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on strategies and priorities leading to product execution
- Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers
- Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
- Understand Meta's strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized as best in the industry
- Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
- Manage multiple products and priorities, scale teams, and ensure org is effective, healthy and set up for success by establishing clear and measurable goals
- 12+ years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Design
- 12+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams
- 8+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and senior leaders
- Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
- Experience presenting to senior executive audiences
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in a consumer focused technology company
- Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces
