Meta is seeking a full-time position of Procurement Operations Specialist in our Finance operations center in Austin, TX. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading the buying process, identifying pain points, and implementing strategic solutions to scale operations. This position requires proven problem-solving skills, cross functional collaboration skills, business acumen, critical thinking and outstanding customer service.
Procurement Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
- Understand the full Source to Pay cycle (Sourcing, Contracts, Procurement, AP) to quickly identify bottlenecks, problems, and drive issues to resolution.
- Research, analyze, coordinate, and respond to incoming inquiries regarding status of purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the buying process.
- Provide clear, concise, step-by-step instructions to internal stakeholders and external suppliers on using procurement tools and interacting with processing teams.
- Analyze data to identify stakeholder pain-points, exceptions, feedback, and opportunities for improvement in existing processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert on procurement policies, processes, and best practices.
- Assist in the research and analysis of audit issues raised by external and internal audit.
- Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and goals, and build relationships to support the organization's objectives.
- Collaborate with Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Master Team (SMT), Enterprise Products (EP) teams, and other stakeholders on:
- Requirements gathering for process and system improvements
- Solutioning and design of new processes and systems
- Change management planning and implementation
- Manage escalations from stakeholders, including investigating and resolving issues, and communicating resolutions to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) teams to enable new processes, ensure good customer service, and provide training and guidance on procurement policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain metrics and reports to track the performance of the S2P process and identify areas for improvement.

- 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Finance
- Experience with understanding of end-to-end source-to-pay process
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Proven communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical and decision-making skills
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Experience with successfully navigating a high - pressure environment and ambiguity
- BA/BS degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance, or management preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
- Experience with ERP system, preferably Oracle.
- Experience with Procurement system/software.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) development and execution

$111,000/year to $162,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
