Meta Reality Labs is developing the future of augmented reality (AR) and smart glasses products. As an Opto-Mechanical Engineer at Meta, you will take a critical role in developing next generation product systems. You will become part of a team translating new concepts through mechanical design and fast iterative prototyping into products. A wide range of approaches will be explored combining electrical, mechanical, optical, firmware, and software techniques. We want people who work well in teams, can brainstorm big ideas, work in new technology areas, drive a concept into a prototype and then mature the design to high-volume consumer product solutions. We are looking for someone with a product mindset, who also is very comfortable working on rapid prototyping, to join a highly collaborative and productive team. We work at a fast pace with a group of highly self-motivated talents. The individual should demonstrate the experience to continuously develop personal knowledge and expertise in new technology for AR display and sensing systems assembly, process design, manufacturing, and scalability.
