The Product and Regulatory Operations (PRO) organization delivers operations for emerging and critical priorities across Meta in close partnership with product/eng, legal and XFN stakeholders.This includes work on legal and compliance to build and scale operations for an expanding set of complex and critical global priorities.The PRO Analytics Team is responsible for measuring the cost, quality, and speed of these operations. PRO Analytics is looking for a people manager with strong data and analytical chops who will guide and develop a team of data analysts while building and executing on the analytics strategy for the team. Successful candidates for this role will thrive working in a fast-paced, dynamic operations environment while partnering with teams across PRO.

Operations Analytics Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team skilled in data analysis, providing mentorship, guidance, support and career development, while enabling analytics maturity for the org
  • Craft and guide team to its vision: drive impact towards goals and collaborate with management across the organization on creating the strategy, measuring progress, and sharing results
  • Leverage operational and subject matter expertise to act as a thought leader, identify key problems, establish shared goals, and bring clarity with a wide variety of stakeholders such as Operations, Product, Engineering, Data Sciences, Data Engineering, etc.
  • Influence direction, design, and execution of analytics initiatives for highly ambiguous areas
  • Work with data engineering / data science and other analytics team to establish data sources that serve the organization's needs, identifying and advocating for process improvements and industry best practices
  • Effectively communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways to management across the globe
  • Elevate key themes across the org (backed with strong data/insights) and collaborate with Engineering/Product teams for investments in developing long-term and scalable solutions
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proactive, intellectually curious, and creative, demonstrable operating with a high degree of ambiguity
  • BA/BS or higher degree in STEM (e.g. Statistics) or related field
  • 3+ years of direct experience managing an analytics team
  • Experience with SQL, data analysis, visualization tools (e.g. Tableau), or programming languages such as Python
  • Experience in communicating with management and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders (including presentations)
  • Experience in driving strategic as well as operational projects, supporting both operations and data/analytics stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree with a quantitative focus (Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Math, Statistics) and/or MBA
  • Experience in operational analytics or operational excellence
  • Experience thriving and driving change in a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment
  • Experience partnering with globally distributed stakeholders/teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills, understand the needs of cross functional partnership, experience to connect and cooperate with other teams
  • 4+ years of experience in consulting or analytics, ideally in an operations environment
