As a Network Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our internal tools and systems, contributing to the advancement of our telecom OSS/BSS systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the development and management of new tools and features that support the build-out and scaling of our network infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced and highly experienced Network Systems Manager to lead the development and management of our internal tools. You will have in-depth understanding of wireline telecom/network infrastructure technologies, OSS/BSS tools, and a proven track record of successfully managing the entire product and tool lifecycle from conceptualization to execution.

Network Systems Manager Responsibilities:
  • Systems Strategy and Roadmapping: Understand, define, and drive the systems strategy, vision, and roadmap for internal tools and the associated features. Collaborate with Business Owners and Engineering Owners to align product priorities with business goals.
  • Product Leadership: Day to day leadership of cross-functional teams in a product management capacity. Inspire and guide teams to achieve product excellence and drive innovation.
  • Build Telecom Systems: Using experience in wireline telecom technologies (L1-L3 including Fiber, IP and Optical) to build OSS/BSS systems, their architecture, and their role in ensuring efficient operations. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Extreme Focus on Execution: Lead the end-to-end product development process, including requirement gathering, design, development, UAT, and deployment of all new systems and features. Drive the creation of high-quality features that meet user needs and exceed expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with planning, IP, Optical, Engineering, and Operations to ensure seamless and timely execution of the product roadmap. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages effective communication and problem-solving.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience within the telecom industry.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Systems Owner with a knowledge of telecom OSS/BSS tools.
  • 3+ years of experience designing analytics products, solving problems using data and providing business insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Proven experience to deeply understand customer needs and translate them into user-friendly product solutions. Always keeping our internal customers the number one priority.
  • Knowledge and experience following SDLC to ensure timely delivery of features. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
  • Background in computer science, engineering, network infrastructure technologies, along with a robust aptitude for knowledge of complex technical systems. Proficiency in telecom technologies, OSS/BSS tools and associated architectures.
  • Experience within the telecom industry preferably with focus on wireline infrastructure
  • Data-driven mindset with the experience to analyze metrics and make data-backed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and product management tools.
  • Experience to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable product requirements.
  • Track record of successfully managing complex tools/systems from conception to launch.
