We are seeking an Issue Management professional with strong project management skills and experience in the legal, compliance, and/or financial technology fields. The role will be responsible for the end-to-end management of compliance related issues, including the project managing, monitoring, tracking and actionable reporting of issues. The position is also responsible for collaborating with associates across all lines of defense in further maturing and optimizing our Issue and related risk management practices. The successful candidate will be a proactive and highly organized individual with excellent communication skills, proven success driving progress on complex and varied projects, as well as experience partnering with a wide range of global stakeholders. Experience and knowledge of the following areas: audit, risk management, issue & incident management, and governance & reporting.

Meta FinTech Compliance Issue Management Lead Responsibilities:
- Drive proactive and timely identification, management, and oversight of issues and other matters across MFTC in-line with program requirements.
- Partner with issue owners to document issue escalation and decisioning memos and present memos for leadership approval at compliance governance fora.
- Lead connect points with MFTC towers and cross-functional teams, as appropriate, to ensure timely execution of the issue management process.
- Provide periodic program status updates to MFTC leadership including escalations/ emerging risks, and actionable items in the issue management environment.
- Participate in cross-functional management forums and contribute to continuous improvement of risk, issue, and other matter management practices.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to existing or development of new strategies, systems, and processes to enable growth.
- Maintain and enhance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the effectiveness of the issue management program.
- Design and deliver periodic training for issue owners on their roles and responsibilities, methodology, and the tools leveraged to manage issues.
- Develop and manage reporting tools, including ServiceNow dashboards.
- Participate in and execute other special projects for the team on a periodic basis.
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited university
- Experience working in the areas of legal, compliance, and/or financial technology
- 8+ years of project or process management experience
- Organizational and time management skills, with the experience to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience articulating compliance requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proven problem-solving skills to address compliance issues effectively and efficiently
- Proficiency with Google Sheets Pivot table/Chart and Google Slides
- 6 + years of experience in issue management, compliance governance, legal risk management, audit, or a combination
- Advanced understanding of issue management policies, standards, reporting and processes
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and/or similar certifications Proficiency with ServiceNow

$143,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
