The Marketing Science team at Meta is actively seeking a full time Marketing Science Manager to lead a team supporting a large eCommerce advertiser.In Marketing Science, our mission is to unlock the full potential of businesses on Meta platforms by transforming advertising performance and industry practices through the use of data-driven analytical methods. We are looking for a skilled and experienced manager who can support the design and implementation of our strategy and operating model, influence our largest advertisers, and the industry on the need to make all marketing measurable.You will have expertise in data analytics, research, statistics, or digital advertising effectiveness to lead a team in delivering strategic measurement, effective research design, and actionable insights that meet client needs. The Marketing Science team Manager will collaborate with wide-ranging internal stakeholders (Marketing Science, Sales, Creative Shop, Marketing, Product Engineering) and external partners. The role will involve inspiring a high-performing team of Marketing Science Partners, serving as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, and driving the overarching measurement strategy. The individual will also guide the customization of existing capabilities and pilot new ones in partnership with cross-functional teams. Occasionally, they may need to dive into technical projects to provide detailed guidance and strategic direction.You will be knowledgeable about advertising, data driven marketing, demonstrates a solid understanding of the advertising ecosystem, is intellectually curious, and have a successful track record to move fast while keeping focused on high impact projects.

Marketing Science Manager Responsibilities:
- - Lead a team of Marketing Science Partners responsible for driving our advertisers to measure true business value by operationalising analyses and research that will prove the value of Meta's advertising business
- Set and execute an overall measurement strategy for a large eCommerce advertiser, for all lines of business including supporting global alignment on the strategy
- Coach a team on providing strategic recommendations and actionable, evidence-based insights and guidance to clients and wider industry.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on business objectives and strategies
- Provide feedback to and collaborate with Product, R&D, and Partnerships teams to identify opportunities for new features, products, and partnerships
- 10+ years experience in data & analytics, research or ad effectiveness
- Experience in building, managing and motivating individuals and teams
- A bachelor's degree in psychology, statistics, economics, behavioral or social science or a related field
- A solid understanding of online advertising and data-driven marketing techniques, advertising and marketing frameworks, including ad effectiveness measurement techniques
- Experience with statistical analysis, including but not limited to experimental design, modeling, or advertising research
- Experience building connections with customers and team members through effective communication and collaborating cross-functionally
- Experience of creating action based on data-driven insights including influencing advertiser planning and buying behavior
- Experience of consistently working under your own initiative, demonstrating problem solving skills and being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
- Demonstrated experience communicating complex topics to a non-technical audience
- SQL (Structured Query Language) skills for data analysis and mining of datasets
- An advanced degree in psychology, statistics, economics, behavioral or social science or a related field
- Familiarity with basic commands in R and/or Python is a plus

$160,000/year to $221,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
