Meta is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer responsible for working with Meta's global manufacturing partners to develop and implement world class manufacturing processes for Open Compute servers that power the Meta's social network, deployed in hyper-efficient data centers worldwide.
Manufacturing Quality Engineer, Server Responsibilities:
- As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer supporting servers for compute and AI/ML applications, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of server products during the manufacturing process. This includes developing and implementing manufacturing quality/test plans, performing root cause analysis on defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reduce defects. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that products meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations, and for driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing/test efficiency and quality. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in the design and development of new server products, providing input on design for manufacturability and assembly, and working with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming components.

- BS, Electrical or Computer Science, or equivalent
- 6+ years experience in design or manufacturing of server products
- Familiarity with server hardware design and troubleshooting
- Experience with printed circuit board assembly & system level manufacturing
- Experience developing board and system level manufacturing test solutions
- Demonstrated use of quality tools and methodologies in a manufacturing and/ or engineering environment
- Demonstrated to perform design of experiment, perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot HW related issues
- Scripting skills in Bash, Perl, or Python is desirable
- Proven communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic startup environment
