Our team consists of individuals with diverse levels of experience and backgrounds. While relevant experience is important, your demonstrated expertise and mindset are ultimately the most valuable qualities. Meta's infrastructure is constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible, and we need Technical Program Managers who can do the same.

Manager, Technical Program Management - AI Infrastructure Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) who can scale with Meta during a period of sustained high growth, while building partnerships with managers and engineers across infrastructure and product teams.
  • Build and optimize teams for execution by attracting top-tier talent and swiftly filling gaps in existing teams to support growth.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the existing technical program management teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business owners to define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope, including defining the roadmap and long-term strategy for the teams you partner with.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, and changes efficiently by adjusting scope, schedule, and resources as needed.
  • Develop and implement communication plans to proactively convey program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
  • Define and track key metrics, quality indicators, and performance indicators, driving cross-functional execution of program deliverables.
  • Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, and critical infrastructure challenges in collaboration with engineering leaders and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team.
  • Experience delivering technical programs or products from inception to completion.
  • Experience implementing monitoring and instrumentation solutions.
  • Knowledge of technical program management methodologies.
  • Experience consistently working independently and coordinating across multiple teams, demonstrating critical thinking and leadership.
  • Experience in communication and collaboration with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
  • Experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving with large-scale systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in supporting large-scale infrastructure software programs.
  • Experience with large GPU clusters.
  • Experience in a start-up-like environment, focusing on technical infrastructure management, where flexibility and rapid execution are crucial for scaling systems and addressing growth-related challenges.

$167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
