Meta's Product Content Engineering team is a global group of content experts whose remit is to refine content experiences across platforms and products. The team is looking for an experienced manager to support global staff and a large cross-functional team assigned with designing, executing and iterating on content initiatives to improve both user and creator experiences on Facebook through a newly-created Creator Acquisition and Activation (A&A) program. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in ambiguous, fast-paced and high growth environments - and will be expected to leverage their technical expertise, thought leadership, and strategic influence to identify and solve problems and drive alignments across a wide cross functional partners to deliver business impact at scale.

Manager, Product Content Engineering Responsibilities:
  • Function as primary driver for identifying significant opportunities, and driving Acquisition and Activation (A&A) program vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive program vision, define product/engineering requirements, coordinate resources from other groups, develop roadmaps, and guide the team through key milestones.
  • Understand Meta's strategic and competitive position and deliver content strategies and product solutions that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry.
  • Integrate content and market analysis into product requirements to improve engineer output and enhance both creator and user satisfaction.
  • Directly manage a team of 5 for US + Brasil, coordinating daily content activation programs, ranking change recommendations, and content health initiatives
  • Support recruitment and development efforts, attracting and retaining a broad range of experiences, perspectives and backgrounds to meet the needs of the team
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams
  • 3+ years of professional experience in hiring, managing and developing individual contributors
  • Experience building sero-to-one products or platform/ecosystems products
  • Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
  • Experience in presenting and communicating to executive leadership
  • Proven track record of collaborative approach to problem solving, experience building internal relationships and operating effectively with cross-functional partners in a fast moving environment
  • Proven experience in managing a team across multiple countries, characterized by an ethos of collaboration and a growth mindset
  • Bachelors degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, Portuguese and/or Hindi is a plus
  • SQL and the experience to set and pull queries are a plus

$159,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
