Meta's Enterprise Engineering is actively seeking a seasoned leader in Enterprise Network Infrastructure. This role is integral to the expansion and enhancement of network services across our enterprise global offices and data centers. The successful candidate and their team will be entrusted with the Design, Engineering, and Implementation of our network as we continue to scale. As a leader in Network Engineering, you will collaborate with Network Engineers, Senior Leadership, and Technical Program Managers (TPMs) to deliver intricate end-to-end solutions. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth and optimization of our network infrastructure.

- Guide team direction for improving the reliability and efficiency of the enterprise network, with a focus towards improving automation and operational excellence.
- Manage and execute cross-functional programs, building internal partnerships covering a range of areas (wireless, data center, sourcing, supply chain, logistics, finance and infrastructure capacity engineering)
- Define and execute strategies for financial efficiency, forecasting and long range planning for multiple network service areas.
- Participate in management on-call rotations, and assist team members with incident management responsibilities
- Operate in a rapidly evolving environment, adapt quickly to new information, and re-prioritize as needed
- Manage engineers to strengths, enable, unblock, and grow talent through coaching and technical mentoring
- Responsible for people management of a team of at least 5-7 engineers, providing performance reviews, continual feedback, coaching and career growth for direct reports
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering
- 3+ years experience managing a team
- Knowledge of network protocols TCP/IP, Routing and switching
- Knowledge in network security issues and vulnerabilities
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Experience in navigating and contributing effectively within a complex, matrixed organizational structure.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network vendors, including but not limited to Cisco, Juniper, and Arista.
- Proficiency in working with OSPF, BGP, VxLAN, VPN, MPLS architectures, and secure tunneling technologies.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing large-scale WAN-based enterprise network solutions.
- Ability to strategize and provide insights on subjects beyond direct experience, showcasing adaptability and forward-thinking.
- Technical expertise in Python, Shell, or Perl for network automation.
- Master's degree in a technology engineering or a closely related field
