Within Global Response Operations, our Community, Regulatory, and Legal Specialized Enforcement Operations team is focused on protecting and reducing bad experiences for our users, regulators, business, and advertisers through the enforcement of Meta's policies. We collaborate with teams from across Meta to resolve highly sensitive and complex cases. We are currently hiring for an experienced individual to lead our Mistake Prevention function with a demonstrated experience thriving in ambiguity, building global strategic relationships across functional boundaries, and driving effective strategy and execution. This is a transformational space with the opportunity to shape future operations and experiences on our platform.You will be part of a high performance and data-driven team. You will scale our operations by optimizing and automating processes, solving problems, and most importantly, helping to prevent them. This will be a mid size team, operating across three regions, that will partner closely with numerous stakeholders across operations, product, policy, and more. This role may involve exposure to potentially graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material, e.g., child exploitation, graphic violence, pornographic, self-injury and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing.

Manager - Community, Regulatory, & Legal Specialized Enforcement Operations Responsibilities:
- Lead a functional/operations team who will have operational, transformational and governance responsibilities for Mistake Prevention. Use active involvement in day to day operations, to shape the future operating practices that will allow Mistake Prevention to grow and flex to changing demands.
- Shape team vision, goals and work across the global team and cross functional partners on strategies for executing, measuring operational progress and sharing results.
- Build strategic relationships with global and cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate risks to the company and our users and develop global solutions across product, engineering, operations, product, and policy.
- Collaborate across Global Response Operations and cross-functional teams to ideate, scope, and implement the best suited AI solutions to enhance our team's work.
- Articulate business needs and influence product roadmaps through an understanding of technical requirements and the product development ecosystem.
- Deliver improved production workflow design, governance processes, procedures and work practices using quantitative analysis, industry research, through collaborating with business partners.
- Utilize various tools, systems and data to help the team analyze trends, create operational dashboards and reporting, that up level insights and can drive further improvements.
- 12+ years of experience working in large-scale Operations, domains such as online operations, escalations, information systems, compliance, risk management, policy, legal operations or management consulting
- 5+ years of experience in leading a sizable business function and team within a globally diverse team in an operations environment
- Demonstrated ownership of Operations strategy, planning, expansion and implementation for a functional team
- Understanding of product life cycles and operationalizing product strategy, experiences working with product engineering functions
- Experience scaling businesses and teams through rapid expansion and delivering optimization and stabilization
- Background in the development, management and delivery of operational performance metrics and key performance indicators
- Experience working in a functional sales or a sales operations role including work with Account Management, Partnerships and Sales teams, or being a close business partner with demonstrated experience to influence and engage these functions
- Technical fluency to understand, communicate and drive impact in a highly technical and fast-moving problem space with previous experience working in or closely with the product team
- Demonstrated success managing the execution of complex projects in a large tech company and delivering complex programs from inception to delivery
- Advanced degree in business, Six Sigma Blackbelt, PMP or recognized project management certification
- Experience in working on Tableau, Salesforce, Six Sigma methodology and Gen AI tools
- Experience working with graphic and sensitive content
