The Meta family of apps is currently available in up to 100+ languages and we are adding many more. ~90% of people already use our products from outside of North America and we continue to expand internationally. As a Program Manager for the Scaled Localization Solutions team, you help define process and tooling improvements and deliver new solutions that continue to scale and improve localization operations for all Meta products and content.
Localization Program Manager, Scalable Localization Solutions Responsibilities:
- Partner across Internationalization, cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, and so on) as well as our vendors to evolve our localization platform and tooling and ensure that process and tooling updates are rolled out smoothly and efficiently
- Consult localization stakeholders on best practices and drive consistency in operations while catering to product specific needs
- Design and implement efficient and scalable end-to-end localization frameworks and processes for multiple products and diverse content types across all Meta products
- Proactively identify and streamline technical and process issues that affect localized product relevance, quality, and functionality
- Actively seek out opportunities to optimize the international user experience and influence adoptions of optimal solutions
- Partner across internationalization to ensure the right resources are in place and all deliveries are completed at the expected standards
- Help design, optimize and build complex workflows

- 3+ years of experience in localization, or equivalent project management or program management experience
- BA/BS or 2+ years of experience or equivalent work experience in localization, internationalization, project management, or program management
- Experience with and thorough understanding of translation technologies: translation memories, translation management systems, machine translation, and other related technologies
- Experience implementing scalable change management frameworks
- Experience communicating across and driving results among a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, working across time zones and international offices
- Experience analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions
- Experienced in staying focused, prioritizing and creating structure across large, ambiguous programs and setting goals for long-term initiatives
- Thorough understanding of translation technologies like translation memories, machine translation, and CAT tools
- Knowledge of additional languages other than English
- Familiarity with internationalization standards such as Unicode and CLDR
- Exposure to SQL, analytics tools, or a coding language
- Knowledge of AI technologies and potential application in localization workflows
- Experience working with localization vendors

$129,000/year to $185,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
