We are seeking an International Tax Manager to join our tax team in Latin America. This position will be part of the International Tax Team which handles Meta's LATAM corporate tax issues and will report to the International Tax Director - Head of LATAM. This role will primarily be responsible for managing the tax compliance in our region, driving tax initiatives and technology, reviewing tax processes, helping with tax audits in the region and supporting the business teams in tax matters. This role will collaborate with the indirect tax team, accounting and other finance and business functions.
International Tax Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage the tax compliance and reporting requirements for the LATAM region, including the review of tax returns, tax payment calculations, tax forecasts, and deferred tax calculations, technical analysis in support of statutory audit, as well as maintain oversight and co-ordination of tax compliance activities outsourced to external service providers.
- Assist in the implementation of tax technology.
- Ensure transfer pricing obligations (e.g. documentation) are fulfilled under local transfer pricing laws and regulations.
- Support quarterly tax accounting and reporting. This includes the calculation and tracking of quarterly/year-end transfer pricing corrections and Uncertain Tax Positions.
- Work with the tax team and finance teams to identify tax issues, cross-border structuring, risks and planning opportunities, provide tax support to the business and finance teams, as well as assist in implementing tax planning projects.
- Limited travel is required for this position.

- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in law, accounting or equivalent working experience.
- 10+ years of relevant international tax experience in the technology or services or industry.
- International tax knowledge and familiarity of tax issues for a multinational company operating globally.
- Experience communicating complex business and tax information.
- Regional experience with LATAM tax matters.
- Professional working proficiency in Spanish.
- Experience working in the technology or infrastructure industry.
