In-App Brand Marketing Manager, WhatsApp

Los Angeles, CA

WhatsApp is a fast, simple and reliable way to talk to anyone in the world. More than 2.5 billion people in over 180 countries use WhatsApp to stay in touch with friends and family, anytime and anywhere. WhatsApp is not only free but also available on multiple mobile devices and in low connectivity areas - making it accessible and reliable wherever you are. It's a simple and secure way to share your favorite moments, send important information or catch up with a friend. WhatsApp helps people connect and share no matter where they are in the world. The WhatsApp In-App Content Team speaks to WhatsApp Consumer Marketing's largest audience directly from within the app. We bring the vibrancy of WhatsApp's global brand to an in-app audience in the billions and in up to 31 languages, with bespoke editorial ranging from breaking product news to exclusive content series (eg. Started on WhatsApp: Love Stories - an original in-app podcast we launched in '24). We seek an experienced and accomplished Brand Marketing Manager and storyteller to join the team, crafting content strategies that elevate the brand and drive global relevance, threading the needle for our in-app team's participation in 360 brand campaigns, and ultimately developing best-in-class efforts that drive brand preference and engagement aligned to business and brand goals. Our ideal candidate will have a combination of brand marketing experience and a background in creating stellar content for audiences at scale. They should excel at cross-functional partnerships, and running content efforts for a high-profile brand, within the CPG or consumer tech industries.
