Meta is seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our Infrastructure Data Center (IDC) team as an individual contributor (IC). In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing security risks associated with our global and rapidly expanding Data Center infrastructure. Your focus will be on enhancing security strategies for IDC's warehousing, logistics infrastructure, and operations.
IDC Security Analyst Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk-informed strategies to secure a global portfolio of mission-critical infrastructure and operations.
- Act as a security expert, managing security risks across multiple domains, including Data Security, Physical Security, Logistics and Supply Chain Security, and Incident Response.
- Evaluate security risks and communicate threats and vulnerabilities to inform business decisions and strategic direction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture, including incident response and vulnerability management.
- Create technical security guidance, such as standards, guidelines, and playbooks, aligning with internal policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Influence and align work with the overarching team and organizational vision and strategy.
- Mentor and support team members to foster long-term career development and success.

- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience in securing logistics operations and infrastructure.
- 10+ years of combined experience in physical security, cyber security, risk management, compliance, and/or mission-critical infrastructure design, construction, and operations.
- Technical expertise across multiple security domains, including network security and infrastructure security.
- Proven experience in establishing, scaling, and maturing security programs.
- Experience managing and delivering multiple complex projects and programs simultaneously.
- Familiarity with industry standards and guidelines such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
- Experience in identifying and communicating security risks and strategies to leadership.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience in securing large-scale, globally dispersed infrastructure, such as data centers or critical utilities.
- Experience with enterprise-wide security projects involving cross-functional teams.
- Experience conducting large scale data analysis.
- Experience working across the broader security community.
