Welcome to the Meta Website E-commerce team! Our mission is to bring all of the cutting-edge technology coming out of Reality Labs to customers around the world, including the revolutionary Quest headsets and new Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.As an E-commerce growth team, we are working on new and exciting ways to bring people to Meta Website, showcase our products, and provide a seamless buying experience. This is a very cross-functional organization and we work closely with Reality Labs, Central Growth, Family of Apps and Enterprise Products teams to drive salesAs a Manager of the web-development team on the Meta Website stores team you'll manage a team that is at the front line bringing new technology to the masses. You'll be optimizing the buying journey for users and helping to educate them on unique new technologies. You'll be applying E-commerce industry best-practices and develop new strategies that set us apart from the competition. We're data driven, design-forward, and interface with teams across Meta.

Head of Web Development - Meta Website Responsibilities:
  • Build, manage, and set direction for teams as a whole as well as for individual team member success.
  • As a cross-functional partner, lead technical discussions and be a thought leader during product reviews and be responsible for designing and executing process and strategy frameworks that facilitate product-related goal setting, decision making, and business impact.
  • Identify and solve systemic, organizational-wide problems, influence, and build relationships. Partner with Product Management , Engineering, Design, Sales and Marketing to define needs to support strategic planning and execution as well as metrics, program requirements, and scope.
  • Articulate to stakeholders your team's technology requirements, goals, and milestones.
  • Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
  • Perform risk and change management on projects.
  • Influence program/product direction and simplify complexity.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of software industry experience, including web development, software engineering or technical product/program management experience.
  • Experience inspiring teams and vendor partners to drive cross-functional projects through to success with minimal guidance.
  • Experience establishing and leading teams through multi-disciplinary relationships to drive product impact.
  • Experience communicating and representing work to leadership and framing discussions to gain valuable feedback and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
  • 5+ years of people management experience leading teams to deliver technical programs or products from inception to delivery
  • Wide understanding of the technical aspects of running a website, including hosting, analytics, UX, technical and content SEO, domain management, content management system, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, platform tools, localization, and budgeting.

$180,000/year to $252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
