Meta is seeking an experienced sales and marketing leader with demonstrated success growing established and emerging business categories, and building high performing teams with inclusive cultures. The Head of Industry will lead the sales and go-to-market strategy for the Telco clients in APAC.The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally to develop go-to-market strategies for their clients and their teams. They will have achieved success as leaders of change and operational excellence. They can create and deploy strategies that drive tangible results across telco business verticals. In this role, they will manage a team of solution specialists, selling Meta advertising solutions to Telco partners at all stages of the funnel.We are looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated success, dealing with ambiguity and successfully managing dispersed teams with limited oversight. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge about the Telco industry, manager experience in a sales environment as well as extensive experience selling online marketing solutions within the digital marketing industry.

Head of Industry, Telco, APAC Responsibilities:
- Build, train and maintain a diverse, world-class, high performing team with a strong inclusive culture to support Telco partners
- Work cross-functionally with In-Market teams in Sales Operations, Data Science, Measurement, Business Engineering, Creative Shop, Product, Partnerships and more to optimize our efforts in this category
- Consult with Product Marketing to help shape product development in support of client needs
- Identify the winning strategies and scale the vertical and region
- Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services for Meta, including a good understanding of working with both brand and performance marketing focused partners
- Drive forecasting excellence for the team
- 10+ years experience in marketing and/or sales positions, with 5+ years of digital media experience and 3+ years of managerial experience
- Data driven marketer with experience demonstrating the benefit of marketing/media opportunities to businesses (Brand and Direct Response marketing experience)
- Understanding of digital advertising technology and data/performance measurement trends
- Proven track record of leading teams across geographical regions. Experience building high-performance inclusive teams
- Strategic thinking. Experience setting strategic vision for the team
- Experience partnering with and influencing cross-functional teams in highly matrixed organization
- 10+ years experience working in sales environment
- Proven track record of creating, implementing and executing innovative solutions using business acumen and industry expertise
- Experience forging relationships with marketing leaders at brands and agencies
- Demonstrated knowledge of the social/digital media landscape (including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), reseller channels and vertical markets
- Knowledge of Telco industry and APAC experience
